Hi my name is Jason but my friends call me Jay! When I was in middle school for Christmas I asked if our family could get a trampoline for the yard and instead my folks got me a guitar. It was the best decision ever made. I fell in love with music and I haven’t looked back. I grew up playing music in church and covers with friends and bands. In college, I studied classical music jazz, and Pop music. I think my life in the lives Of everyone around me is sweeter because I learned to play the guitar drums bass piano and sing. I love getting to share that gift with my students in a thoughtful and playful way. I love watching my students truly get better and understand how music works and what a powerful tool it is to change the world around them. Teaching Piano lessons and Guitar and voice lessons in Costa Mesa have been a very rewarding position for me.
